That one driveway turned into another, and another.

To fund it, I didn’t ask my parents to write a check — I held a car wash and raised every dollar through donations. On build days, around twenty volunteers — fellow Scouts and adults — worked under my direction to get it done.
That project was basically a small business in miniature — budget it, plan it, lead a team, handle the setbacks, and deliver something built to last.
